To be familiar with the situation in Nepal during this period, 2002-2004, will understand that there were no easy answers, no clear questions. Things were built, things were blown up.

And it was a difficult time to be a volunteer in Nepal. And most volunteers with whom I worked were extraordinary. Many still count as great friends today. And those people, the people of Nepal, made my Peace Corps experience one of the best experiences I have had.
